From a garage project to a trusted service provider for industry giants

It began mover 35 years ago as a small sole proprietorship by Norbert Billmann under the name “Billmann Veranstaltungstechnik.” In 2009 it became Billmann Event GmbH and now employs a staff of more than 45 employees. A second location in Berlin was added in 2019. The company is still run today by Norbert Billmann as managing partner and Saskia Hermann as managing director.

What are the guiding principles of Billmann Event GmbH?

Another essential aspect to consider...

is the environment. The event industry in particular has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to sustainability, and that applies to us as well.
It starts with replacing conventional batteries with rechargeable ones, or using lighting equipment that consumes less energy and has a longer product life cycle.

But we want to go a step further! We are working with the 2bdifferent agency to obtain sustainability certification in accordance with ISO standard 20121 .

What does that mean in concrete terms?
The aim is to identify ways to reduce carbon emissions and wastefulness.
It's about developing an overall corporate concept for sustainable operations, so events in general become more environmentally friendly in the long term.

In 2019 we opened a second location in Berlin in addition to our main office in Nuremberg.
