Digital general assembly with record-breaking participation
For the first time in the 120-year-long history of 1. Football Club Nuremberg, the organization's general assembly was conducted in a completely digital format – with a record turnout of more than 4500 participants.
The event was held in our Hybrid Studio in the Park Lounge, where our experience and innovative technology guarantee security and functionality while meeting the highest expectations of modern digital communication.
The event made the 1. Football Club Nuremberg a pioneer in the digital implementation of club meetings.
Legally compliant and interactive implementation
The election of the supervisory board members was supervised by a notary, while members cast their votes using a certified voting app. Participants' questions were received live through a chat feature and answered immediately.
Thanks to this well thought-out digital infrastructure and professional execution, the event was a complete success and demonstrated how digital formats can be successfully employed in traditional organizational structures.
We would like to thank Billmann Event GmbH for their outstanding technical support for our annual general assembly. The hardware they provided enabled us for the first time to reach more than 4500 members with a digital live stream.
This made it possible for 1. FCN to hold a meeting of this size – unprecedented in German football at the time.
Based on this excellent experience, we will rely on Billmann to implement other events such as a virtual ‘double pass’ with sponsors of the club.
