An eye-catcher and crowd-puller – one of our lighthouse projects, in the truest sense of the word.
Our client was just as impressed as the visitors to their trade fair exhibit by this attention-grabber with long-distance impact, both due to its monumental size and the creative way it was used.
It was fun, and it was – quite literally – a towering success!
The construction itself was impressive enough: a 5.5-meter-tall tower with a base area of 1.5 x 1.5 meters, outfitted with 132 LED panels for a total weight of more than 2.1 tons. In a total of 70 working hours we assembled and subsequently dismantled the GEALAN trade fair exhibit at the 2024 FENSTERBAU FRONTALE trade fair.
But first came the structural calculations and the planning for the technical equipment. For example, the tower had to withstand any drafts that might occur when the hall doors were open during the assembly phase, so it was stabilized with a weight of 1.5 tons.
We are pleased to note
We are really good at building towers, equipping them, and if desired, programming them for creative displays. We now have structural calculations and plans in place for towers up to 5.5 meters, but we can do much more if needed!
We can handle a project like this one almost entirely with materials from our own inventory.
We can even provide additional creative and technical support. For example, if necessary, we can equip the tower with integrated fire protection certified according to VdS 6024.
