Each year, the Automation meets IT event addresses current trends in the areas of IT, OT, and automation, providing interested executives who are also customers of Siemens AG an opportunity to exchange ideas.

Billmann Event served as on-site technical partner for both the 2023 event at the Erlangen Innovation Center and the 2024 edition at the convention center on the Hannover trade fair grounds.

Studio and live TV

In 2023 the focus was on TV studio-like image design to optimally present the content for online viewers. The visual content and motion design delivered appealing images that underscored important points from the presentations. The event was streamed using an in-house Billmann B-hybrid platform, including an interactive agenda, polls and voting, as well as management of the online participants and a media library containing all the presentations.

In 2024 there was another in-person event. The 100 invited guests gained fascinating insights from experts who gave presentations and participated in a panel discussion. In addition to the complete technical setup for audio, video, and lighting, we also created – from taping to post-production – a short film featuring highlights of the event.

That was the coolest thing I've ever seen from Siemens. Content, speakers, camera footage, the studio – everything was coherent and perfectly executed!
